J-Hope of BTS donates 100 million won to families of Jeju Air crash victims
In a heartfelt gesture, J-Hope of BTS has donated 100 million Korean won (approximately $68,000) to support the families affected by the tragic Jeju Air plane crash.
The accident, which occurred on December 29, 2024, involved Jeju Air flight 7C2216 crashing into a wall and bursting into flames during an emergency landing at Muan International Airport, resulting in 179 fatalities.
J-Hope channeled his donation through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, stating, "Upon hearing the news of the accident, I decided to make this donation to help the bereaved families as much as I can."
He also expressed his condolences, saying, "My heart goes out to those enduring this unimaginable pain."
